This coming Monday I’m flying out to LA for the Advisor DevCon. I’ll be speaking both on the VFP track (mostly doing the .NET to VFP developers kind of material) and on the .NET track. These are the sessions I have lined up:

  • Language Integrated Query (LINQ) for Microsoft Visual FoxPro Developers
  • Design Patterns in .NET
  • Compare Design Patterns in Microsoft Visual FoxPro and .NET
  • Compare Data Access Programming between Microsoft Visual FoxPro and .NET

Too bad I won’t have time to go to Disney.  :-/

  1. Hello from a North Texas neighbor!

I just wanted to say "thanks" for all the great information I gathered at your DevCon sessions.  I\’ve been a VFP develop for 12 years and have been dipping into .NET off and on since it hit the market.  I\’ve had a hard time getting my hands around .NET.  Your sessions have given me a great deal of inspiration to really get on board with .NET (C# specifically).  Thanks again!

I didn\’t have time for Disney either!

  2. Howdy, neighbor!  🙂

Glad to hear you\’ve enjoyed my sessions.
