Expanding my voice journaling workflow.
In the middle of a working session, transition from one session to another, or from one meeting to another, I capture a list of topics (thoughts, ideas…) that I want to journal about later.
Doing so lets me set my thoughts free, trusting I can get to them when the time is right.
It’s essential that capturing happens fast.
That I don’t leave the mental, physical, and/or digital spaces I’m in.
For that, I use the Reminders Today workflow in Alfred…

…which is configured to add items to the Journal list on my phone’s Reminders app.

When I have a few minutes (usually taking a while or driving), I check the journal reminders and proceed with voice journaling, as I describe in From Spoken Thoughts to Connected Notes My Voice Journaling Workflow.
